We often hear and engage in conversations with students and their families across Albany/Dougherty County about how they will pay for college. At Albany Housing Authority, we believe that every young person, regardless of their circumstances, should have an opportunity to attend college. For that reason, the Jeanette Henderson Scholarship was established to provide scholarships for Residents who what to achieve personal and academic success. 

Please join us for the 5th annual Jeanette Henderson scholarship banquet on August 1, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn, Albany, Georgia to raise funds for scholarships that will allow deserving, but financially disadvantaged students with the opportunity to gain a quality college education.This will be a fun-filled evening of food, music, fellowship, and so much more!
